Position Overview:
As a Production Operator, you will play a vital role in our operations, ensuring efficient production processes and maintaining high standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the loading and unloading of trailers and tankers.
- Utilize electronic scales for accurate product measurements and fill various sized containers.
- Blend products, label containers, and organize palletized goods.
- Operate lift trucks and, when necessary, drive the yard spotter truck to position trailers.
- Handle full 55-gallon drums, which may weigh several hundred pounds, requiring manual maneuvering.
- Work outdoors for a portion of the time, adapting to varying weather conditions.
- Perform additional tasks as directed by the supervisor.
Candidate Profile:
- Work hours are from 7 AM to 4 PM.
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
- Successful completion of a security background check is mandatory.
- Fluency in English, including reading and writing, is essential.
- Passing a math skills assessment is necessary.
- Strong communication abilities are required.
- Dependable transportation is a must.
- Capability to perform essential job functions is expected.
- Ability to stand for up to 75% of the workday.
- Basic computer literacy is required.
- Willingness to work weekends if necessary.
- Forklift operation experience is preferred.
- Experience in a chemical warehouse setting is advantageous.
- Mechanical aptitude is beneficial.
- Availability to work any assigned 8-12 hour shift throughout the week.
