UCHealth is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at UCH Broomfield Hospital. As a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, you will be responsible for providing top-notch patient care and performing various ultrasound procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct ultrasound procedures to provide diagnostic images for patient care
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure patient safety and quality care
- Educate patients on procedures, equipment, and exams to ensure understanding and cooperation
- Implement safety standards and perform quality control procedures on equipment
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions as needed
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Technologist program or Diagnostic Medical Sonographer program
- Registered as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS), Vascular Technologist (RVT), or Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or certified in Sonography (S) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
