Responsibilities- Deliver professional nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures, ensuring their safety and well-being throughout the perioperative process.
- Perform scrub and circulating functions, including the selection and handling of instruments and supplies, as well as monitoring and recording patient condition.
- Assist operating physicians with surgical tasks, such as hemostasis, suturing, and wound exposure, as well as patient positioning.
- Prepare operating rooms and surgical instruments and equipment for use.
- BLS Provider certification obtained within 1 month of hire date required.
- Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date required.
