Job Summary

Adventist Health is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team in Waimanalo, Hawaii. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for operating computed tomography equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' bones, organs, and tissue. Your expertise will be essential in diagnosing medical conditions and providing accurate results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate computed tomography equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs, and tissue.
  • Perform a variety of imaging procedures, including general radiography and fluoroscopy.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients ranging in age from adolescence through geriatric.
  • Produce sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation.
  • Use PACS and teleradiology system to correctly transfer images to the appropriate location.
  • Maintain accurate records, files, and billing information.
  • Ensure the integrity of patient medical images and data while adhering to Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and other patient confidentiality guidelines and regulations.
  • Perform routine maintenance and calibration of equipment and manage supply inventory.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology (preferred).
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT)) or R.T. (R)(ARRT).
  • Advanced Certification in the modality of CT (required in OR and HI, preferred in CA).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) or HS-BLS or RQIBLS certification.
  • ARRT-Radiography (ARRT-R) or ARRT-Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT) certification.
