Prepare for a nursing career that is truly unique. Accredo Infusion Nurses travel to patient residences to administer essential infusion therapies, but that's just part of our mission. The other part? It's about building meaningful connections with patients – without the rush or pressure to move on. In this position, you'll operate independently, making informed decisions to achieve the best outcomes for your patients, while witnessing the positive impact of your work every day.
Your Impact:
- Guide and empower your patients. Focus on their overall health and collaborate with Pharmacists and the Therapeutic Resource Center (TRC) to meet their needs.
- Own the patient experience. Travel to patient homes to administer IV infusion therapies independently, providing responsive management and follow-up care.
- Serve as the primary contact for patient updates. Equipped with a tablet, you will ensure all healthcare providers are informed about your patients. Document all interactions, assessments, treatments, responses, and disease progress meticulously.
- Strive for continuous improvement as a nurse. Leverage your dedication, confidence, positive mindset, and adaptability to navigate challenging situations with the support of your leadership and team.
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing in your state of residence.
- BSN degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant RN experience; or
- ASN degree with at least 5 years of relevant RN experience; or
- Nursing Diploma with 8+ years of relevant RN experience.
- At least 1 year of experience as a specialty RN in critical care, acute, or home healthcare settings.
- Proficient IV insertion skills.
- Valid driver's license.
- Willingness to travel within a designated geographic area.
- Availability to work Monday through Friday during the day, with occasional evening or weekend visits as required.
- Flexibility to adapt to alternate shifts on short notice and be on call for field visits as needed.
