We are currently seeking a skilled Truck Mechanic at the journeyman level to join our dedicated team. Your Role:

As a Journeyman Truck Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on class 7 and 8 trucks in our workshop. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring that all repairs are executed efficiently and effectively, thereby supporting our clients and maximizing their operational uptime. You will collaborate with a team of experienced technicians in a well-equipped environment that promotes high-quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct repairs and maintenance on various makes and models of medium and heavy-duty trucks.
  • Utilize diagnostic tools for electronic troubleshooting, HVAC systems, and chassis repairs.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining excellent communication with team members.
  • Ensure all tasks are completed in a timely manner to meet customer expectations.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in truck repair and maintenance.
  • Proficient in using diagnostic equipment and basic computer applications.
  • Strong self-motivation and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Exceptional communication skills and customer service orientation.
  • Possession of a Class B CDL or the ability to obtain one.
  • Must have personal tools required for the job.
