Job Summary
The Tensioner Technician I will play a crucial role in maintaining the daily operation of the primary tensioner machine(s) at US Tsubaki Automotive, LLC. This position is responsible for ensuring the machine produces high-quality parts while meeting productivity standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and troubleshoot tensioner machining equipment, including tooling adjustment, presetting, and preventative maintenance.
- Inspect and test parts to ensure quality standards are met.
- Operate small quality testing equipment, such as calipers, micrometers, and microscopes.
- Read and interpret part prints.
- Run one line at a time, ensuring efficient production.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Zero to two years of related experience.
- Basic computer skills.
- Experience with 5S principles.
- Basic problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to run up to four lines.
- Excellent planning, organizational, and attention to detail skills.
- Availability to work weekends as needed, with 24-hour notice.
