Job Summary:

The Sales Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the day-to-day activities related to the sale and rental of equipment. This role requires strong communication and organizational skills to ensure seamless interactions with internal and external customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the primary contact for internal customers regarding sales, demos, loaners, heavy rentals, and RPOs.
  • Assist with logistics from order to delivery, including transport, parts, and service to meet customer requests.
  • Manage the life of rentals, including contract management, insurance coverages, customer pricing, machine utilization, service requests, accurate invoicing, and credits.
  • Ensure accurate process is followed for CAT Commercial in-store credit card sales, authorizations, and credits.
  • Schedule delivery and pick-up of inventory to maintain appropriate work tool stocking levels.
  • Serve as process owner of Product Health Loaners, liaising with CAT support representatives, sales management, and internal parts and service departments.
  • Issue and receive vendor purchase orders through CODA.
  • Responsible for answering incoming customer calls and transferring requests to other departments.
  • Maintain and support the Retail Customer Experience program, including machine staging, signage, and handling walk-in customer visits.
  • Serve as primary contact for all sales and rental asset prioritization through service departments.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Up to one year of work-related skill, knowledge, or experience preferred.
Work Environment:

This role involves extended periods in a stationary position, with occasional movement inside the office to access office machinery, file cabinets, etc. The position requires good manual dexterity, coordination, and stamina.

Regularly works indoors in environmentally controlled conditions, with occasional outdoor work in yards and display areas.
