About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Assay Lab Intern. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Assisting with laboratory experiments and test method development;
  • Gaining hands-on experience in the fire assay laboratory;
  • Learning about the process of analyzing samples for gold and other precious metals;

What You'll Receive

This internship provides a generous hourly rate of $27.50 per hour and offers a unique opportunity to develop valuable skills and experience in a dynamic industry. As a participant in our summer internship program, you will also receive mentorship, career exposure, and the chance to work on a group project that will culminate in a presentation at our corporate office in Chicago.

Requirements

To be eligible for this internship, you must be:

  • A student entering their junior or senior year;
  • Pursuing a degree in a relevant field, such as chemical engineering, chemistry, or metallurgy;
  • Legally authorized to work full-time in the United States without sponsorship;
  • 18 years of age or older;
  • Eager to demonstrate leadership potential, strong interpersonal skills, and excellent written and oral communication skills;
