PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintain cleanliness of guest accommodations, including tasks such as changing linens, disposing of waste, and polishing surfaces. Ensure thorough sanitation of bathrooms, including commodes, tubs, floors, and mirrors. Collect and properly discard trash in designated areas as instructed by management.
All lost and found items must be tagged and submitted to the management for documentation.
Conduct inspections of rooms to identify necessary repairs and confirm cleaning completion.
Report any damages to furnishings or fixtures to the appropriate supervisory personnel.
Utilize cleaning products according to safety guidelines as outlined in the Material Safety Data Sheets.
Arrange room furnishings, bedding, and amenities in accordance with established standards.
Restock housekeeping supplies as needed or upon request.
Examples:
bathrobes, slippers, towels, tissues, bath mats, bedding, hangers, pillows, toiletries.
Perform dusting and vacuuming tasks in line with company standards.
Inspect guest rooms systematically, noting completed tasks.
Replace clean towels on racks and ensure proper placement of room accessories.
Operate light vacuum equipment.
Adhere to protocols regarding pets, smoking, and pest control as directed by management.
Follow all safety and security procedures.
Prioritize room cleaning based on guest requests and arrivals.
Complete special projects as assigned by management.
Conduct deep cleaning of assigned rooms annually as per schedule.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Requires manual dexterity for tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, moving furniture, making beds, changing linens, and cleaning floors.
Effective verbal and written communication skills are essential for interaction with guests, colleagues, and supervisors.
Must be capable of using stairs and service elevators to navigate the building.

EDUCATION & WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent training preferred. Previous experience in housekeeping within a luxury hotel environment is advantageous.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Must be able to stand and walk for the duration of the shift. Ability to perform light to moderately heavy housekeeping tasks, including lifting, reaching, bending, stretching, pushing, pulling, and climbing on step stools repeatedly throughout the work shift. Exercise discretion when handling guests' personal belongings.
ENVIRONMENT:
This role is primarily indoors, shielded from weather conditions. Interaction with cleaning chemicals is required, and occasional exposure to pets and other animals may occur.
