Responsibilities
As a Telemetry Medical Surgical Nurse at Chandler Regional Medical Center, you will utilize your nursing expertise to meticulously monitor your patients' vital signs, including blood pressure, oxygen saturation, heart rhythms, and respiration rates.
You will also provide reassurance to patients and their families by clearly explaining test results and facilitating informed healthcare decisions.
Each day, you will play a crucial role in our nursing team by collaborating with physicians and other clinical specialists to closely observe patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring.
Building trust in these interactions will involve learning new concepts and applying your knowledge in real-time to deliver solutions for real individuals.
Your success in this position will stem from your passion for providing exceptional care, eagerness to learn, and ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, patients, and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor routine heart rate, blood pressure, and pulse oximetry levels
- Promptly report and address any changes in patient condition
- Thoroughly explain test results and procedures to patients and their families
- Educate patients on post-hospital care, including prescribed medications, maintenance, and prevention strategies

Qualifications
Minimum:
- Current AZ State RN License or Compact RN license in good standing
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification
- American Heart Association ACLS certification within 6 months of hire
Preferred:
- One year of medical/surgical acute care experience
- Strong skills in cardiac and hemodynamic monitoring
Pay Range
$58.90/hour
