Job Summary:

The Resort Events Security Representative plays a vital role in ensuring the safety and enjoyment of guests during various resort functions. This position involves providing exceptional guest service, managing parking, and overseeing on-property traffic flow.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Welcome and engage with guests in a warm and approachable manner.
  • Guide guests and offer information promptly and courteously.
  • Clarify and respond to inquiries regarding the property, promotions, special events, entertainment, and the Total Rewards card program.
  • Create an enjoyable atmosphere during promotions, special events, and entertainment.
  • Uphold service standards established by the department.
  • Monitor parking areas, manage traffic, and assist with valet services as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Comply with all regulatory, departmental, and company policies and procedures in an ethical manner.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • A valid driver's license is necessary, with restrictions on DUI convictions and moving violations.
  • Essential Skills and Knowledge:
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
  • Willingness to accept guidance and feedback positively.

Physical, Mental, and Environmental Requirements:
  • Must be physically mobile with reasonable accommodations.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds and carry up to 10 pounds.
  • Capable of standing, sitting, or being on feet for an 8-hour shift.
  • Ability to stoop, bend, reach, kneel, twist, and grip items.
  • Must handle mentally and physically demanding situations.
  • Proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.
  • Ability to respond to visual and auditory signals.
  • Capable of navigating all areas of the casino and hotel.
  • Must tolerate varying noise levels, temperature fluctuations, and other environmental factors.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
