At Bluebird Lake Placid, we're looking for a seasoned Front Office Manager to join our dynamic team. With a focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences and ensuring seamless operations, this role is ideal for those with prior hospitality experience and a passion for leadership.

About the Job

We offer a competitive hourly wage of $45-$55, depending on experience, plus opportunities for growth and professional development in a rapidly expanding hotel group.

Responsibilities
  • Lead Front Desk Operations: Oversee daily front desk activities, ensuring timely check-ins, efficient room assignments, and excellent customer service.
  • Manage Staff: Hire, train, and supervise front desk staff, including concierges, front desk agents, and other team members, to deliver high-quality services and meet guest expectations.
  • Foster Collaborative Environment: Promote open communication and teamwork among staff members, encouraging them to provide personalized attention to guests and resolve issues promptly.
  • Analyze Performance Metrics: Monitor and review key performance indicators (KPIs), such as occupancy rates, revenue per available room (RevPAR), and guest satisfaction scores, to identify areas for improvement and implement effective strategies.
  • Implement Revenue-Boosting Initiatives: Work closely with revenue management teams to develop and execute inventory and pricing strategies that maximize revenue and drive market share.
Requirements
  • 1+ Year of Hospitality Experience: Prior experience in a supervisory or management role in the hospitality industry, preferably in front office operations.
  • Strong Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with guests, staff, and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop strategic solutions to complex problems.
  • Prioritization and Time Management: Effective prioritization and time management skills to balance multiple tasks and responsibilities in a demanding environment.
