Key Responsibilities
We are in search of a committed Clinical Dietitian to enhance our healthcare food service team. The Clinical Dietitian will be instrumental in delivering nutritional care and advice to patients, promoting their overall health and wellness.
The responsibilities include:
- Conducting assessments to determine patients' nutritional requirements and formulating personalized diet plans.
- Providing nutritional therapy and counseling for patients with diverse medical conditions.
- Monitoring patients' progress and modifying diet plans as necessary.
- Educating patients on healthy eating practices, food choices, and preparation methods.
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
- Keeping abreast of the latest advancements in nutritional science and dietary recommendations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related discipline; Master's degree preferred.
- Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) certification.
- State licensure as a dietitian where applicable.
- Comprehensive knowledge of physiology, tube feeding, health coaching, patient assessment, and diagnostic evaluation.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Capability to work efficiently within a multidisciplinary team setting.
