Job Summary

Facilities Maintenance Management is seeking a skilled Commercial Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance and construction team, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing building operating systems at multiple locations nationwide.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of building mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems.
  • Conduct periodic general preventative maintenance on mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems.
  • Be responsive to requests in the areas of safety, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, and environmental needs.
  • Prepare and maintain maintenance logs and records.
  • Coordinate contractor, tenant, and management approvals for work orders that require use of an outside contractor.
Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience in maintenance and repair.
  • Basic electrical skills, including changing out wall receptacles and replacing light bulbs.
  • Light carpentry skills, including replacing trim boards and wall studs.
  • Sheetrock work skills, including replacing sheet rock on walls and taping and floating texture.
  • Light plumbing skills, including replacing under sink plumbing and installing faucets.
  • Basic HVAC knowledge, including troubleshooting and performing PMs on HVAC units.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Ability to think ahead and manage multiple projects.
