Ag Diesel Technician Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Ag Diesel Technician to join our team at AKRS Equipment. As a premier John Deere dealership with 27 locations in Nebraska and Kansas, we offer a dynamic work environment and opportunities for career growth.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and experienced diesel mechanic/technician to work with our team. You will be responsible for performing service repairs, basic mechanical repairs, and required maintenance using special tools and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform service repairs and maintenance on agricultural equipment
  • Use special tools and equipment to diagnose and repair complex issues
  • Work with our team to ensure timely and efficient completion of tasks
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and techniques

Requirements
  • At least 2 years of experience as a diesel mechanic/technician
  • Ability to perform basic mechanical repairs and required maintenance using special tools and equipment
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • High school diploma required; associate degree preferred
