Position Overview:
As a Patient Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing direct support to residents in their daily routines. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Assisting residents with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Supporting mobility and positioning needs.
  • Maintaining accurate care records and reporting any changes in residents' conditions.
  • Engaging positively with residents, families, staff, vendors, and the community.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, you should meet the following criteria:
  • Hold an active State-approved certification as a Patient Care Assistant.
  • Be at least 18 years of age.
  • Obtain a Food Handlers Permit as required by state regulations.
  • Have prior experience working with elderly individuals.
  • Demonstrate compassion and a genuine desire to assist the elderly.
  • Exhibit the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with residents, families, and staff.
  • Uphold honesty, fairness, and confidentiality in all interactions.
  • Meet all health requirements and successfully pass background checks.
