Position Overview:
As a Patient Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing direct support to residents in their daily routines. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting residents with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Supporting mobility and positioning needs.
- Maintaining accurate care records and reporting any changes in residents' conditions.
- Engaging positively with residents, families, staff, vendors, and the community.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, you should meet the following criteria:
- Hold an active State-approved certification as a Patient Care Assistant.
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Obtain a Food Handlers Permit as required by state regulations.
- Have prior experience working with elderly individuals.
- Demonstrate compassion and a genuine desire to assist the elderly.
- Exhibit the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with residents, families, and staff.
- Uphold honesty, fairness, and confidentiality in all interactions.
- Meet all health requirements and successfully pass background checks.
