Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer II, React Developer to join our team at JPMorgan Chase. As a key member of our Consumer and Community Banking division, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and delivering software components for our state-of-the-art technology products.

As a Software Engineer II, React Developer, you will be responsible for executing software solutions through the design, development, and technical troubleshooting of multiple components within a technical product, application, or system. You will work closely with our agile team to enhance, design, and deliver software components in a secure, stable, and scalable way.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and troubleshoot software components using React and Java
  • Write secure and high-quality code using modern programming languages
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize software development projects
  • Apply knowledge of software development life cycle tools to improve automation and efficiency
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of best practices
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on React and Java
  • Hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
  • Experience with modern front-end technologies and cloud platforms
  • Demonstrable ability to code in React and Java
  • Experience across the whole software development life cycle
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with modern front-end technologies and cloud platforms
  • Experience with agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines
  • Knowledge of software security and compliance
