Dietitian Specialist

Luminis Health is seeking a skilled Dietitian to join our team. As a Dietitian, you will be responsible for assessing nutritional needs, developing and implementing nutritional care plans, and providing education to patients and caregivers. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of medical terminology and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. **Key Responsibilities:**

* Assess patient data and develop individualized nutritional care plans
* Conduct nutritional assessments and make recommendations for medical nutrition therapy
* Document screening and assessments in medical records
* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
* Provide education and counseling to patients and caregivers on nutrition principles and food selection

**Requirements:**

* Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or related field
* Registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics
* Licensure or licensure eligibility in the state of Maryland
* Strong understanding of medical terminology and nutrition principles

**Working Conditions:**

* Medium work, exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally
* Exposure to blood-borne pathogens
