Firefighter/EMT

The City of Victoria, TX is seeking a highly skilled Firefighter/EMT to join our team. As a Firefighter/EMT, you will be responsible for responding to emergency calls, providing medical services, and participating in fire prevention and suppression activities.

• Respond to emergency alarms and provide medical services as required.
• Operate and maintain fire and rescue apparatus and equipment.
• Participate in fire prevention, training, and station maintenance activities.
• Assist in providing public fire education and conduct fire station tours.
• Maintain necessary certification through constant training and attend training sessions as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prefer 15 hours of college credit.
• Texas basic firefighter certification and Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) EMT-Basic certification required.
• Valid Texas Class B driver's license required within one (1) year of date of employment.
• Driving record that meets City guidelines.
