Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Veterinary Neurology Specialist to join our team at Ethos Veterinary Health. As a key member of our neurology department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and working closely with our veterinarians to deliver specialized neurological services.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a licensed veterinary technician or assistant to develop their skills and expertise in anesthesia and neurology. You will work alongside experienced professionals to provide top-notch care for animals with neurological disorders.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor patients with neurological conditions and assist in various diagnostic procedures, including MRI and CT scans
  • Perform anesthesia and prepare patients for surgery
  • Maintain accurate records of anesthesia procedures, drug administration, and vital sign monitoring
  • Calculate and administer medications as directed by staff veterinarians
  • Anticipate patient discomfort and stress, ensuring they receive the best possible care
Requirements
  • AA degree or BA/BS degree from an accredited veterinary technician program
  • Minimum of two years of experience in a veterinary hospital setting, preferably in a specialty practice setting
  • Strong anesthesia skills and experience in advanced diagnostic imaging (MRI, CT) are preferred
