Claims and Benefits Coordinator Job Summary

This role involves providing administrative support to the claims team, ensuring accurate and timely processing of Worker's Compensation claims. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and experience working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Claims: Review and verify Worker's Compensation accounts and forms, interact with claims adjustors, and maintain all records and reports.
  • Communicate with Stakeholders: Respond to telephone calls from internal staff, patients, adjustors, and case managers.
  • Authorization and Verification: Obtain authorizations for initial visits, surgeries, and physical therapy.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge preferred.
  • Experience: One-year medical billing or medical business office experience in a physician office or hospital environment.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of billing and related functions, large physician group operations, clinic policies, Worker's Compensation processes, payer specific requirements, state and federal regulations, authorization and verification processes.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
