Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse for our Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU). This role requires a professional with a strong background in critical care nursing, particularly in the management of cardiovascular patients.
Key Qualifications:
- EPIC Experience: Proficiency in EPIC software is mandatory.
- Experience: A minimum of 1.5 years of dedicated CVICU nursing experience is essential.
- Trauma Experience: Level 1 Trauma experience is preferred.
- Competency Assessment: Candidates must successfully complete an online EKG tele competency assessment prior to the commencement of the assignment.
- Certifications: Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are required, with the ability to read and interpret cardiac strips.
- Clinical Skills: Experience with A-lines, ventilators, medication drips, sheaths, dialysis, and the ability to draw arterial blood gases (ABGs) is necessary.
