Job Summary:
Schneider is seeking a skilled CDL-A Intermodal Truck Driver to join our team. As an Intermodal Truck Driver, you will be responsible for hauling freight containers secured to company-owned chassis, with a focus on 90% no-touch freight and 50% drop-and-hook.
Key Responsibilities:
- Haul freight containers secured to company-owned chassis.
- Drive in and out of railyards within IA, IL, IN, and MI.
Pay and Benefits:
- Mileage pay and load pay, plus hourly pay while on duty, not driving.
- Longevity bonus: Earn 3% of annual gross pay each year.
- Paid orientation.
- Paid time off after 6 months, plus 6 days of holiday pay per year.
Requirements:
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Drivers on this account are required to drive at night.
- Tanker endorsement and HazMat endorsement are strongly preferred.
- Live within 40 miles of Chicago, IL.
- Minimum 6 months of Class A driving experience.
