Job Summary

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is a vital member of our healthcare team at Beaumont Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center. As an LPN, you will provide direct nursing care to our residents, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being. Your leadership skills will be essential in supervising nursing assistants and making informed decisions to maintain the highest quality of care.

Responsibilities
  • Direct the day-to-day functions of nursing assistants, ensuring seamless care delivery.
  • Collaborate with nursing staff and support personnel to plan and implement shift services, programs, and activities.
  • Document resident care, including admission, transfer, and discharge, as well as charting nurse's notes and accident/incident reports.
  • Administer medications as ordered by physicians and maintain accurate records.
  • Develop and maintain a positive working relationship with inter-departmental personnel and other departments within the facility.
  • Ensure confidentiality of resident care information and maintain a calm environment throughout the unit and shift.
Requirements
  • Current unencumbered state license as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
  • Knowledge of nursing and medical practices, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to nursing care facilities.
  • Current CPR Certification.
  • Experience in Long Term Care is preferred.
