Nurse Educator

Mass General Brigham is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse Educator to join our team in Everett, Massachusetts.
Job Summary:The Registered Nurse Educator will be responsible for implementing and supporting programs for staff development, education, quality, and evidence-based practice. This role will facilitate assessment and identification of practice gaps and learning needs, as well as support onboarding, transitions to practice, continuing education, and academic student placement experiences within the nursing division.
Key Responsibilities:- Implement and support programs for staff development, education, quality, and evidence-based practice.
- Facilitate assessment and identification of practice gaps and learning needs.
- Support onboarding, transitions to practice, continuing education, and academic student placement experiences within the nursing division.
- Change Agent for quality, safety, and practice improvement: Analyze quality outcomes, synthesize data and evidence to support the development and implementation of collaborative improvement initiatives.
- Promote professional development of nurses and support staff (higher education, certification, engagement in shared governance, leadership development, scholarly inquiry).
- Participate in strategic planning and goal development.
- Advance healthy interprofessional practice and learning environments.
- Promote and participate in nursing shared governance and other organization or system level committees/councils.
- Promote a culture of innovation, scholarly inquiry, and high reliability.
- Participate in the evaluation and synthesis of best available evidence into practice changes.
- Utilize reliable instruments or tools to measure impact of practice change.
- Support teams in the pursuit of nursing accreditation and regulatory compliance (e.g. Transition to Practice, Magnet, TJC, DPH, other Specialty Certifications).
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives with high reliability framework.
- RN required.
- BSN required; MSN preferred.
- Clinical or professional specialty certification required; NPD-BC preferred.
- 3-5 years nursing practice required, critical care experience preferred.
- 1-2 years experience with facilitation of precepting, and education programs required.
