We are seeking a dedicated Dietary Aide to join our team at the Flandreau Santee Sioux Tribe Long Term Care Center.
Job Summary:
The Dietary Aide will provide assistance in all dietary functions, working closely with the facility's dietitian and other departments to ensure the delivery of high-quality food services to our residents.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in food preparation, service, and sanitation
- Work with the dietitian to implement recommended changes and ensure compliance with established policies
- Maintain a clean and safe environment throughout the department
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with colleagues and other departments
- Participate in workshops, seminars, and other training opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; on-the-job training provided
- Criminal background check and drug screening required
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Ability to make independent decisions and work effectively with others
- Physical ability to lift, push, pull, and move equipment and supplies up to 50 pounds
Working Conditions:
- Works in well-lighted and ventilated areas
- Subject to frequent interruptions and interactions with residents, staff, and visitors
- May be exposed to heat, cold, and hazardous conditions
Salary: $16.00-$18.00 per hour (part-time), plus benefits and opportunities for professional growth.
Location: Flandreau Santee Sioux Tribe, South Dakota.
