About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Meat Department Associate to join our team at The GIANT Company. As a key member of our meat department, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive and process meat deliveries, including breaking down loads and rotating stock
  • Weigh, price, and label meat products
  • Stock and maintain meat cases, including selecting and preparing products for display
  • Provide excellent customer service, including answering questions and making product recommendations
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all food safety and sanitation standards
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by management, including processing cuts for the service counter and special orders
Requirements
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Must be able to read, communicate, and understand company policies and safety regulations
  • Must meet the ergonomic and physical requirements for this position, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Must be able to work in a cold environment
Physical Demands
  • Shift hours: minimum 4-hour shifts or more depending on business needs
  • Job cycles: continual maximum
  • Lift/carry: 50 lbs.
  • Stand 55%, sit 0%, walk 45%
