Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced DC Assistant Supervisor to join our team at O'Reilly Auto Parts. As a key member of our distribution center operations, you will be responsible for directing the day-to-day activities of the order processing department, ensuring compliance and productivity while operating.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all aspects of the order processing department, including ensuring compliance with company operations, policies, and procedures.
  • Assist the Order Processing Supervisor with various job duties, including maintaining payroll figures, budgeting, productivity, and team member evaluations.
  • Provide leadership, training, and guidance throughout the department, focusing on maintaining high productivity and morale.
  • Work closely with the Operations and DC manager to establish annual goals and plans for achieving them.
  • Collaborate with the Human Resources Supervisor and Operations Manager to ensure effective recruiting, hiring, and training practices.
  • Maintain safety standards while operating and identify unsafe practices and situations.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on customer service
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to read and match numerical and alphabetical characters quickly and accurately
Preferred Qualifications
  • College degree or logistics certification
  • 2+ years previous experience in a supervisor role
  • Advanced computer skills
  • Completion of the O'Reilly supervisor training program
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish preferred)
