Responsibilities- Administer medication to clients as prescribed by physicians.
- Assist clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and eating.
- Support clients with physical therapy exercises to maintain their physical health and well-being.
- Cook meals according to clients' dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Assist clients with shopping and household chores to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to clients.
- Monitor clients' health and report any concerns or issues to supervisors.
- Act quickly and responsibly in emergency situations.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Pass a criminal background check.
- Pass a child abuse and neglect background check.
- Pass a motor vehicle background check.
- Be at least 21 years old.
- Have a valid driver's license.
- Pass state-required CASAS literacy assessment prior to employment.
- Complete CPR, 1st Aid, Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI), Med Passing, and DSP training provided by the company within the first 4 months and annually thereafter.
