About the Role

MAXhealth is seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team in Venice and North Port. As a Phlebotomist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Draw blood from patients and donors, labeling and storing blood containers for subsequent processing
  • Assemble equipment, including tourniquets, needles, and disposable containers for needles and blood collection devices
  • Verify patient identities and ensure accurate sample labeling
  • Process samples and enter orders accurately
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Phlebotomist certification or licensure with at least 1 year of experience
  • Ability to draw a patient every 10 minutes
  • Computer literacy, including experience using EMR/EHR systems

Locations and Hours

This role is based in Venice and North Port, with locations at Jacaranda Blvd and Aidan Lane. You will work Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm.
