About the Role

As an MRI Technologist at Texas Health Huguley - AdventHealth, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to patients. You will be responsible for operating MRI equipment, preparing patients for exams, and ensuring that all imaging procedures are performed safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform all exams using established protocols and facility policies.
  • Properly screen all patients for contraindications to MRI and/or contrast allergies, reviewing with radiologist as needed.
  • Complete all exams in a timely manner, keeping work flow moving, and minimizing empty table time.
  • Review all images of all exams, repeating images as necessary for best possible result.
  • Notify physician of emergent findings according to established protocol.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree or Technical degree in a related field.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Must be certified by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)(MR).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Two years of MRI experience.
