Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Commercial Pipefitter to join our team at Proman Skilled Trades. As a Commercial Pipefitter, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various lines used for HVAC/Refrigeration equipment in accordance with local and state codes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, repair, and maintain copper refrigeration piping systems in commercial construction settings.
  • Perform brazing and soldering tasks to ensure high-quality connections.
  • Test, purge, and repair refrigeration lines to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Use power tools, acetylene torches, and other equipment to complete tasks efficiently.
  • Interpret blueprints and pipe system layouts to ensure accurate installation.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Commercial Pipefitter installing refrigeration piping in commercial construction settings.
  • Proficiency in brazing and soldering copper refrigeration lines.
  • Knowledge of mechanical heating and air conditioning piping systems.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Reliable transportation to job sites throughout the city.
