Drafting Specialist

East Texas Canopy is seeking an experienced Drafting Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our drafting department, you will be responsible for preparing submittals using AutoCAD software and developing submittals needed for engineer and customer approvals.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Prepare detailed drawings and documents
- Communicate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure accurate and complete submissions
- Manage the drafting and submittal process from start to finish
- Analyze designs and identify potential concerns
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years experience in drafting or related field
- Proficient in AutoCAD software
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
We offer a competitive hourly rate based on experience, ranging from $25 to $35 per hour. Overtime pay after 40 hours per week, 8am-5pm Monday-Friday schedule, company-provided health insurance, paid time off, and six paid holidays.
