Phlebotomy Professional

The Phlebotomist plays a crucial role in the laboratory by ensuring accurate specimen management and collection. Responsibilities include:

• Labeling, ordering, and processing specimens with precision.
• Collecting blood samples utilizing techniques suitable for various age groups.
• Maintaining laboratory equipment and ensuring the availability of medical supplies.
• Conducting specified waived testing as required.

Minimum Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.

Phlebotomist I: New graduates or those with less than 3 years of experience are welcome to apply.
Phlebotomist II: Candidates must possess a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

Successful candidates will demonstrate:

• Critical thinking abilities and sound judgment.
• The capacity to operate independently with minimal supervision.
• Adaptability to work in high-pressure environments and respond appropriately.

Certification in Phlebotomy is preferred, along with Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
