Job Description
This position involves applying design expertise on challenging projects and mentoring junior engineers in our Phoenix, AZ office.

You will work with one of the nation's top Energy Services Companies, gaining expertise and advancing your career through discipline-specific system design, project coordination, and customer relationship management.

Responsibilities:
- Provide system designs using CAD/BIM, calculations, and related services under the guidance of the Director of Central Utility Systems.
- Manage customer relationships and expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Create mechanical designs for power plants, including piping, building level HVAC, gas-fired turbines, steam turbines, water tube boilers, fire tube boilers, heat recovery steam generators, and develop project specifications and system layouts.
- Establish systems application, design, and operational parameters/sequences of operation.
- Participate in QA/QC processes and assist in determining project scheduling requirements, manpower requirements, and project budgets.
- Perform construction administration and field investigation tasks, including assessments of existing conditions, field inspections, and inspection reports.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in the MEP field, including designing power plants.
- Ability to review confidential US security information.
- Current Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) certification.

Estimated Salary: $115,000 - $140,000 per year based on location and experience.
