Initially, your responsibilities will involve the installation of fiber optics. Following this phase, you will engage in pre-wiring tasks and circuit grooming activities, which will be divided between standard working hours and maintenance windows. Your work will encompass SONET and DWDM grooming processes, ensuring seamless transitions.

You will collaborate closely with a dedicated Traffic Migration team, tasked with executing circuit migrations for carrier clients. This initiative is aimed at optimizing operational costs by consolidating facilities, thereby enhancing network efficiency. Your efforts will be instrumental in relocating customer traffic circuits from outdated equipment to upgraded systems.

This role requires a technician adept in Central Office operations, as the majority of tasks will be conducted during designated maintenance periods.

This project is expected to extend over a significant duration.
