Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Per Diem Pharmacist to join our team. As a Per Diem Pharmacist, you will be responsible for coordinating the activities of the pharmacy department to provide the highest quality of pharmaceutical care to all patients served by the hospital, while ensuring patient safety.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the activities of the pharmacy department to provide high-quality pharmaceutical care to patients.
  • Ensure patient safety by following established protocols and procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with the Director of Pharmacy and other healthcare professionals to achieve departmental goals.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements
  • Current state Registered Pharmacist License.
  • Experience in hospital pharmacy operations preferred.
  • B.S. degree in Pharmacy required; Doctor of Pharmacy degree preferred.
  • BLS certification required within 6 months of hire and must be maintained.
