Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough eye examinations and manage surgical co-management.
  • Diagnose and treat ocular diseases.
  • Prescribe corrective lenses and dispense prescriptions.
  • Handle ocular emergencies and promote healthy vision through patient education.
  • Utilize advanced diagnostic technology with support from a highly trained staff.

Work Schedule: This role offers part-time employment, requiring 16 hours per week, specifically on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 8 AM to 5 PM. A typical day involves seeing approximately 15 to 18 patients.

Ideal Candidate: We seek a compassionate and self-driven Optometrist who prioritizes exceptional patient care and service. Success in this role necessitates strong interpersonal skills, a service-oriented approach, and the ability to build lasting relationships with patients and colleagues. Candidates should be eager to stay updated with the latest techniques and innovations in patient care. A valid optometry license in the relevant state is required. New graduates are encouraged to explore this opportunity.

Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Optometry degree (O.D.) with TPA certification.
  • 1-3 years of clinical experience, though new graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in job duties.

Working Environment: The work setting is generally favorable, with adequate lighting and temperature, free from hazardous conditions.
