Job Description

This is a full-time position that requires creating visually appealing displays in our showroom to attract customers. The ideal candidate will have 1+ year of experience in fashion merchandising and/or retail merchandising, and/or furniture retail or visual design/merchandising experience.

Responsibilities
  • Promote teamwork by working effectively with other peers, supervisors and co-workers
  • Critique floor daily and review IST's to determine product placement
  • Maintain and prepare the visual content of the showroom on a weekly basis
  • Accessorize and replenish product vignettes
  • Provide design assistance to sales staff and customers
  • Communicate with Visual Merchandise Manager, Store Managers and Merchandise Manager through daily Critique Sheet
  • Assist dock personnel with receipt and placement of product as needed
  • Prioritize workload to complete all assigned daily tasks in the required time limit
  • Participate in display design and set up of new or remodeled showrooms
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1+ year of previous experience in fashion merchandising and/or retail merchandising, and/or furniture retail or visual design/merchandising experience highly preferred
  • A degree in Interior Design highly preferred, and/or a combination of experience and college/technical school art or design education preferred
  • Must have a car and ability to drive/commute to other store locations
