Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to join our growing team at Cortica. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled healthcare professional to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children with neurodevelopmental differences.


Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough patient intakes, screenings, and assessments to develop personalized plans of care.
  • Triage referrals for acute needs to ensure timely and effective support.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive care for each patient.
  • Provide ongoing education and support to families on various topics, including nutrition evaluation, dietary support, and medication management.

Requirements
  • A minimum of 12 months of experience in pediatric practice, preferably in behavioral neurology and/or Neurodevelopmental Medicine (NDM) and pediatric behavior disorders.
  • Proficiency in ADIR/ADOS diagnostic evaluation.
  • Ability to leverage multiple forms of technology simultaneously for telemedicine purposes.
  • A current and unrestricted license to practice as a nurse practitioner in your clinical domain.

Compensation & Benefits

We offer a competitive compensation package, including a base salary range of $137,000 to $171,000, depending on experience and qualifications. What You Will Do
  1. You will conduct thorough patient intakes, screenings, and assessments, incorporating unique characteristics and needs into the plan of care.
  2. You will triage referrals for acute needs and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive care.
  3. You will provide ongoing education and support to families on various topics, including nutrition evaluation, dietary support, and medication management.
  4. You will work closely with cognitive and behavioral child neurologists and pediatricians to provide ongoing care for attention, sleep, headaches, challenging behavior, medication management, and medical follow-ups.
