Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Donation Attendant to join our team at Middletown Store in Middletown, MD. As a key member of our retail store team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, receiving donations, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding customer service to donors and customers, ensuring a positive experience and promoting sales for our organization.
  • Receive and process donations in an efficient and courteous manner, ensuring that all items are properly labeled and stored.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, adhering to our high standards of quality and safety.
  • Assist with loading and unloading merchandise, as needed, and safely operate pallet jacks and walkie stackers.
  • Conduct daily safety inspections on company-owned equipment and ensure compliance with all safety rules and regulations.
  • Participate in cross-training opportunities to develop skills and knowledge in other areas of the store.

Requirements

  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to pass a forklift certification class and safely operate pallet jacks and walkie stackers.
  • Ability to speak and read English proficiently and maintain regular and consistent in-person attendance.
