Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Epic Systems Analyst to join our team at Christus Health. As a key member of our healthcare IT team, you will play a crucial role in designing, building, and optimizing our assigned applications in a timely and high-quality manner.

About the Role:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business issues/requirements and workflows, applying application knowledge to meet operational and organizational needs.
  • Implement medium to high complexity software projects, collaborating with customers throughout the analysis, testing, and documentation process.
  • Analyze, develop, test, document, educate, implement, support, and maintain or optimize assigned applications, solutions, and business processes.
  • Demonstrate subject matter expertise in providing support to projects, customers, and other teams, proactively working to improve and obtain new expertise in application/system areas.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform working-level process and requirement analysis, including process mapping, current flow charts, documents, future needs/plans, requirement elicitation, stakeholder analysis, and specification gathering.
  • Contribute to strategy discussions by identifying options with associated pros and cons, making timely decisions, and sound judgments.
  • Provide clear and organized status reporting on key project areas, representing user needs and expectations in larger system updates and enhancements.
  • Maintain relationship with end-user leadership post-engagement, addressing conflicts and facilitating effective communication.

Requirements:

  • Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred with a focus in healthcare, business, or information systems.
  • 3+ years of experience in healthcare IT, with 2+ years in a similar role.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to present complex data in meaningful methods and adjust to and implement change.
  • Problem-solving skills, multitasking abilities, and strong organizational skills in managing multiple priorities.
