Role Overview:


A Store Operations Leader collaborates with the management team to oversee store operations and foster an environment that is both engaging and inspiring for customers and team members alike.

This role involves driving sales, enhancing awareness of key performance indicators, and contributing to the growth and development of team members.

Key Responsibilities:
Brand Representation
Acts as a brand ambassador, embodying the values of Free People; collaborates with store leadership to create an engaging atmosphere that resonates with customers.

Implements sales initiatives that elevate the customer experience; empowers the team to enhance sales through personalized service, tailored styling, and outfit recommendations.

Ensures a seamless, omni-channel shopping experience by effectively utilizing systems and applications.

Leadership and Team Development
Serves as a proactive team member, demonstrating decision-making and multitasking skills while prioritizing customer service.

Actively engages in managing the store environment and customer experience by promoting a positive atmosphere, overseeing daily operations, and driving sales.

Takes the initiative to educate and share product knowledge, brand messaging, and exceptional customer interaction techniques using available resources.

Visual and Operational Support
Assists the management team with daily administrative tasks, operational execution, and store upkeep.

Collaborates with key partners to efficiently manage product shipment, restocking, and display standards while ensuring timely processing of omni-channel orders.

Adheres to safety protocols, maintains inventory accuracy, minimizes product loss, and upholds company policies to support store profitability.

Communication and Relationship Building
Promotes an inclusive, people-first culture; engages employees at all levels to foster open communication, ensure follow-through, and support the store team.

Stays informed and collaborates with leadership to address communication needs; contributes to information sharing and actively participates in team meetings.

Demonstrates a willingness to develop new skills and remains open to feedback; enhances the work environment through optimism, positivity, and proactive problem-solving.

Guides and mentors the stylist team; takes responsibility for personal development and career growth while considering succession planning.

Proven leadership capabilities.

Experience as a collaborative team player.

Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

A strong desire to learn and grow within the organization.

Compensation:
Starting pay is USD $16.50 per hour.
