Primary Care Nurse Practitioner

Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) compensation package includes a salary range of $123K-$170K, plus annual merit increases of up to 7%. Additionally, relocation assistance of $30K is offered, as well as a sign-on bonus of 10% of base salary. A retention bonus of 10% of base salary is also provided after two years of service. Furthermore, student loan repayment is available through the NHSC - ISH program, and continuing education opportunities include $4K + 40 hours of CME. A generous PTO policy allows for 10 hours per pay period, with the option to bank or pay out up to 400 hours yearly.
Responsibilities and Facility DetailsAs a Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) at our facility, you will provide outpatient psychiatric services to patients 18 years and older. Your responsibilities will include crisis intervention, psychiatric evaluation, psychiatric medication management, psychotherapy (group, family, and limited individual), and group skill building. You will work closely with our psychiatric care team to support each patient's needs. Our team consists of a multidisciplinary staff, including MP/NP, Nurse Case Manager, Directing Clinician, Behavioral Health Case Managers, CMA, and admin/scheduler.
Qualifications and SkillsTo be successful in this role, you will need 2+ years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner, with current certification or certification pending from the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners or American Nurse Credentialing Center, (NP) with added qualifications in psychiatry. You must be able to work effectively in a team environment and have experience as a Nurse Practitioner in a multi-disciplinary setting with prescriptive privileges or successful completion of a behavioral health clinical rotation. DEA certification is also required.
