Overview:

Troon International is thrilled to present an outstanding career opportunity for a Cashier within our Golf Shop team. Ideal candidates will excel in a customer-centric environment and demonstrate a commitment to delivering exceptional service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist patrons with access to the golf course, merchandise, and rental services.
  • Manage tee time bookings efficiently.
  • Facilitate the rental of golf equipment.
  • Coordinate the assignment of golf carts and tee times.
  • Promote and sell merchandise available in the shop.
  • Oversee the opening, closing, and security of the Pro Shop and carts.
  • Maintain organized and well-stocked shelves.
  • Ensure cleanliness of work areas throughout the shop.
  • Collaborate with management regarding merchandise and equipment procurement.
  • Handle cash register operations, including daily cash outs and deposits.
  • Provide assistance to all customers as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Monitor and manage the pace of play on the course.
  • Supervise the parking area.
  • Serve snacks, beverages, and light refreshments.

Qualifications:

Candidates should possess strong interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn. Previous experience in a retail or hospitality setting is preferred but not mandatory.

Skills and Behaviors:

Successful candidates will demonstrate a proactive approach to customer service and teamwork.

Education and Experience:

A high school diploma or equivalent is desirable. Experience in a similar role will be advantageous.

Licenses & Certifications:

Relevant certifications may be required based on local regulations.
