Job Summary

As an Agricultural Weighing Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of grain transactions at our scale house.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain grain scale equipment to accurately weigh inbound and outbound grain, adhering to company standards and protocols.
  • Record and verify grain weights, grades, and other relevant data in our inventory management system, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Issue scale tickets and verify all documentation is complete and accurate, facilitating smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
  • Inspect grain samples for quality, ensuring compliance with company standards and procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with truck drivers, farmers, and other stakeholders to facilitate efficient operations and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Assist with inventory management and data entry tasks as needed, ensuring timely and accurate data processing.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and company policies.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a similar role or in the agricultural industry is preferred, but not required.
  • Strong mathematical and data entry skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in using computer software and scale systems, with the ability to learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction and company excellence.
  • Physical ability to lift and move items as needed and to work in varying weather conditions.
