Allied Universal is seeking to hire an Open Source Intelligence Analyst.

The Operational Intelligence Center serves as a sophisticated command center dedicated to customer service for retail establishments across North America.

This role involves monitoring social media, gathering information, analyzing data, and disseminating findings promptly to key stakeholders.

Intelligence analysts are required to utilize a wide array of intelligence community resources and products to identify and evaluate threats to the organization or sector, prepare assessments of potential threats, and analyze threat-related trends using advanced research methodologies, while collaborating with tailored targeting infrastructure to pinpoint vulnerabilities.

Personnel will work closely with open-source intelligence, grey literature, law enforcement, and social media platforms.

Analysts should be adept at compiling all-source data from various databases and repositories to create representations of areas of interest or specific locations related to a target or subject of analysis.

Furthermore, analysts must produce analytical intelligence reports, graphics, and briefings, developing and presenting comprehensive all-source analysis products in response to information requests or proactively.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Collaborate with government and private sector intelligence organizations to gather essential information for developing a comprehensive risk profile of the business landscape.

Proofread and finalize briefings, white papers, and executive summaries; attend meetings and perform other tasks that communicate and execute plans for OIC Management and/or client contacts.

Mentor and manage team members; review and edit work products; provide additional analysis to enhance reports.

Prepare and/or review all submitted analytical and investigative reports to ensure accuracy, research sufficiency, and professional quality; edit and correct as necessary before dissemination to decision-makers.

Implement actions taken by the business in response to localized and/or global risk indicators.

Maintain confidentiality of policy and procedure documentation, emergency response information, and database content.

Monitor social media outlets through queries defined for national security and threats against assets.

Oversee live intelligence streams.

Monitor protests and demonstrations that may impact assets, providing timely warnings to stakeholders and producing summaries or bulletins as required.

Identify news, social media, law enforcement, and emergency management sources and contacts for each property in the assigned region.

Inform key personnel of critical information and incidents that may directly or indirectly affect stakeholders and assets.

Deliver timely communications and actionable intelligence to support the protection of individuals, assets, intellectual property, and infrastructure related to interests and/or entities.

Be prepared to work 12-hour shifts up to 14 days during special events, high traffic periods, and emergency operations.

Ability to arrive early, stay late, and/or work on off days as necessary to meet contractual obligations.

Serve as the central hub for monitoring, analyzing, and interpreting risks and threats that may impact the business.

Post bulletins that benefit clients and national security providers.

Review special events and large-scale occurrences that may affect properties.

Develop threat assessments to guide management, corporate security, and national security providers.

Create bulletins to alert stakeholders of new developments or trends impacting assets.

Review Homeland Security and associated portals for updates.

Analyze incident reports to identify any activities that should be classified as suspicious.

Examine past incidents to develop indicators, warnings, and mitigation strategies.

Assess related sectors of critical infrastructure to protect stakeholders (e.g., transportation).

Understand and interpret data regarding criminal and safety incidents related to client properties.

Conduct analysis, planning, and provide direction to ensure the OIC delivers maximum value to the business.


QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

A minimum of five years of relevant experience in intelligence at the local, state, or federal level is necessary.

Strong critical thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and solve problems effectively.


Proficient research and writing skills, capable of functioning as a member of a strategic analytical team in producing intelligence products and assessments.


Ability to define problems, establish facts, and involve appropriate individuals in the decision-making process to draw valid conclusions.

Capability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workload, and meet competing deadlines.

Familiarity with national, operational, and tactical intelligence methods.

Creativity and the ability to view problems from various perspectives.

Knowledge of a full range of intelligence disciplines.

Ability to organize and prioritize tasks while effectively multitasking.

Quick recall and documentation of essential details.

Proficient use of reference materials.

Demonstrated analytical problem-solving ability and critical thinking skills.

Capability to manage information and technical security programs.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, intelligence-related automation, and communication tools, with the ability to quickly learn and operate various computer applications.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with both managers and team members.

PREFERRED

QUALIFICATIONS:

Advanced degree in intelligence studies, national security, political science, international affairs, criminology, or other relevant fields.
