AdventHealth Tampa: A Leader in HPB Care

We are seeking a highly skilled HPB Surgeon to join our esteemed team at AdventHealth Tampa. As a leading healthcare provider, we offer a comprehensive range of medical and surgical services for conditions and diseases of the digestive system.

Our team of six GI physicians, APPs, two colorectal surgeons, two HPB surgeons, six general surgeons, and a speech language therapist work together to provide exceptional patient care. We are committed to delivering the highest level of service and expertise in the region.

Under the leadership of Dr. Sharona Ross and Dr. Iswanto Sucandy, both world-renowned surgeons, we are expanding our surgical team to meet the growing needs of our community. Dr. Ross and Dr. Sucandy specialize in robotic complex abdominal operations for esophageal, stomach, and Hepatopancreatobiliary diseases. They lead an Advanced GI, Foregut, and HPB Surgery fellowship program at AdventHealth Tampa.

We are seeking a surgeon who specializes in HIPEC treatments for cancer and Sarcomas to further enrich our HPB and abdominal oncology program. If you are a skilled and dedicated surgeon looking to make a meaningful contribution to our team, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform complex abdominal surgeries using robotic techniques
  • Diagnose and treat conditions related to the digestive system
  • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care
  • Participate in our Advanced GI, Foregut, and HPB Surgery fellowship program

Requirements:

  • Board certification or eligibility in General Surgery
  • Fellowship training in HPB Surgery or a related field
  • Experience with HIPEC treatments for cancer and Sarcomas
