Key Responsibilities:

In alignment with InnVite Hospitality's standards, the following tasks are essential:

  • Manage Guest Check-in and Check-out processes efficiently.
  • Utilize Property Management System (PMS) for operational tasks.
  • Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately.
  • Demonstrate proficient switchboard operation and maintain telephone etiquette.
  • Implement front office emergency and security protocols.
  • Oversee reservations for guest accommodations and meeting spaces.
  • Assist with administrative responsibilities as directed by management.
  • Ensure the front desk area and lobby are maintained in a neat and tidy condition daily.
  • Set up and monitor the cleanliness of the breakfast bar and dining tables.
  • Make minor decisions as necessary to enhance guest experience.
  • Process group reservations and establish group blocks.
  • Promote guest room sales through new arrivals and phone inquiries.
  • Adhere to all policies and procedures as outlined in the employee handbook.
  • Maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance in the appropriate uniform with nametag.
  • Operate laundry facilities as instructed.
  • Exhibit a professional demeanor towards all guests, associates, and vendors.

Essential Skills:

  • Fluent verbal and written communication skills in English (Spanish is a plus).
  • Basic mathematical abilities.
  • Legible handwriting.
  • Proficient computer and typing skills.
  • Ability to operate a 10-key calculator.
  • Exhibit hospitable and courteous interactions with the public.
  • Capability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Basic accounting skills and night audit training.

Physical Requirements:

  • Neck: Bending and twisting.
  • Arms: Reaching, bending, light carrying, pushing, and pulling.
  • Hands: Finger dexterity and grasping.
  • Trunk: Bending and twisting.
  • Legs: Normal balance, crouching, or kneeling.
  • Feet: Standing for extended periods, walking, and climbing stairs.
  • Auditory: Ability to read and comprehend emergency and security information, including labels and directions; communicate effectively in emergencies.
  • Hearing: Ability to hear emergency alarms, telephones, and conversations.
  • Vision: Legal normal vision with or without accommodation.
